- Acca
- Short for accumulator, a parlay that combines multiple selections and multiplies the odds together.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to a team to eliminate the draw option, expressed in fractions or whole numbers to create balanced odds.
- Bankroll Management
- The practice of setting and sticking to a budget for betting to avoid large losses.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet that wins if each side scores at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- The option to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or cutting a loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet predicting the exact final score of a match.
- Cover
- When a team wins by more points than the spread, they 'cover' the spread.
- Double Chance
- A bet covering two of the three possible outcomes in a match (e.g., home win or draw).
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that returns your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise you win on the selected team.
- Dutching
- The method of spreading a stake across multiple outcomes to guarantee an equal profit regardless of which one wins.
- Goal Line
- The total number of goals set for a match; you bet on over or under that line.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet that requires you to predict both the result at half-time and the final result.
- In-Play Betting

- Juice
- The commission that a sportsbook charges on a bet, usually built into the odds.
- Lay Bet
